Spoiled!
I really enjoy lounging around in my back yard. I love to fetch, but haven't quit figure out that I am suppose to bring it back to mom. It's more fun to make her chase me for the toy. I've realized that this is my home and my personality is really showing now. I love to sigh or snort when mom and dad make me do something I don't want to do, like sit on my bed and wait. But life here is much greener than the other side of the fence.

Meet my new brother Link. He came from SEGA too. We love to run and play hide and go seek between the trees in the back yard. We run until mom makes us come inside to cool off. We get along pretty well, but when it comes to the toys, I want them all!

My Forever Home
I have found my forever home and as you can tell from my picture, I just hate it here.
I am still finding new rooms in my home and there sure are a lot of doors around here. I still can't figure out why I am only allowed to go out just one of them.
And the stairs. My parents seem to be going up and down them constantly and I can't keep up with were they are. I waste my time trying to find them, to only lose them again.
I really don't understand why my mom doesn't want to play with me at 6:15am every morning. She seems to be in a hurry to go somewhere.
Toys, Toys, Toys. Boy are there a lot of toys here. I don't have time to play with them all.

What a Guy!!!
Today while I was bragging about how great Milo was my friend asked me why I didn't just adopt him. Good question I thought because this beautiful and sweet natured dog is pretty much perfect and I should be thrilled to have him here forever. The truth is I would love to adopt him but then I would not be able to foster any others and I feel I am helping out more dogs in that capacity.
Milo has impeccable house manners. He will make sure we know he has to potty (even if it is in the middle of a tornado and hail storm!),and he has never had any accidents in the house. He also does well when left uncrated. He is not destructive or a counter surfer. He loves to eat but is not food aggressive at all. He walks perfectly on the lead and loves to visit people and other dogs on his walks. He is fabulous with children and adores their attention. Milo loves to play with his stuffies but is also happy to sleep on the dog bed if no one feels like entertaining him.
Oh yes, Milo would be a perfect dog to adopt!! I know he is waiting for a lucky family to love forever.

SHHHHH! I Am Sleeping In Today!
Today Milo decided he was in no hurry to wake up and go outside. In fact, he slept in until almost 11am. He was sleeping in my daughter's room with her and I guess he felt "Well, when in Rome..." The first thing he wanted to do once he woke up was to eat. I think he was just a little disappointed that there was no room service.

I Get No Respect!
Poor sweet, gentle, and generous Milo! This is an example of what he has to deal with here! Notice ALL the toys are on Tia's bed. Also notice she has the bigger bed! He takes all this abuse from her in stride and goes with the flow. That is just the kind of guy he is. He does like to play, and he plays nicely with all the dogs here. I am dog sitting my daughter's bratty male Vizsla and he and Milo had a great time playing together.

I'm loving Life!
Milo is a wonderful house dog. He has impeccable manners and has not had one bathroom accident while in our home. I must admit this surprises me as I had assumed all male dogs would hike their leg, especially in homes where other male dogs live. Milo sleeps on his bed while we are home and does not beg for food while we are cooking or eating. He is not a counter surfer or garbage hound. He makes no attempt to get on the beds or furniture.
Today we took Milo for a walk in the neighborhood. He walked very nicely on his lead and enjoyed being stopped and petted by the children outside playing. He is a gentle boy who enjoys standing/leaning and having his ears rubbed. He has such a soft coat.
Milo has learned to sleep quietly in his crate while we are away, and at nights. He enjoys having a frozen peanut butter filled Kong in his crate with him when we leave for the day. He also enjoys the companionship of our other greyhound and our dachshunds.
We are enjoying having Milo as a foster dog in our home. He is a great dog. In fact, he is darn near perfect!!!!
